	The two types of digital intra-oral x-ray are hard sensors and electronic film. Use hard real time sensors when you want an instant image. Use comfortable electronic film for a full mouth series. Real time sensors allow for an x-ray to be displayed immediately after the radiation exposure. Electronic film overcomes the number one objection to real time sensors, which is patient discomfort. The comfort of the flexible electronic film makes it easy to capture a full mouth series of x-rays. High-resolution digital x-ray images can be enhanced and adjusted to allow for a more accurate diagnosis. Using the digital images you can quickly create impressive presentations for patients. Printing images for referrals and insurance eliminates the need to duplicate x-rays.
